The Virtual Crops project was started in 1996 as a class project in PLB 105, Developmental Plant Anatomy. These websites for tomato, rice, cotton and grape are intended to be virtual monographs of the anatomy of these important crop plants, with hyperlinks to other related sites. The grape website was written as a lab project related to our Pierce's Disease research. It is now online. With all four of these sites, we are proud of the fact that undergraduate students are the primary authors. If you have questions about the Virtual Crops, please contact us.
